Amazing local place I spent a few nights at Casa Ixum and had a truly enjoyable experience. Although it's centrally located on Avenida Nader, the atmosphere is incredibly peaceful—like stepping into a quiet, thoughtfully designed retreat. The space has a warm, artistic feel, and the attention to detail in both the rooms and common areas really stands out.
The restaurant is a lovely part of the experience. The food is beautifully prepared, with rich, creative flavors and great presentation. I especially enjoyed the French toast and the guava with ancho chili dessert. The dining space is intimate and calm, making it a great spot for a relaxing meal, whether you're staying at the hotel or just stopping by.
Overall, Casa Ixum is perfect if you're looking for a stylish, quiet place to unwind in the middle of Cancún. I'd...
Read moreLoved our one week stay at Ixum Hotel! We weren’t expecting much when we booked at Ixum, but we really loved our stay here! If you’re looking for a place to stay in Cancun, that’s far from the touristy area and more local feels, this hotel is the one. Loved the interior and design of the hotel, it was very well-thought off, from the architecture to the furniture, it was really chic and modern. The beds, sofa, and the pillows are really comfortable too.
The management and the staff were friendly and hospitable! Very accommodating and attentive to our needs. Shoutout to Lorea, Maria, Cesar, Alonso, (and the pm/nighttime host whom we didn’t get the name!) best team!
Food and drinks 100% you have to try! My partner loved...

Everything I tried was flavorful and creative—especially the French toast and the guava-ancho chili dessert. It’s open to the public, but still feels super intimate. Definitely...
