La Parrilla Mayan Grill — Restaurant in Cancún

This is another hidden Gem in the same mall as my previous review. The food was amazing as always they have a lot on offer I recommend getting the mariachi tacos, that way you can get a taste of a little but of everything. There's tacos al pastor ( pork slow cooked on a spit), chicken, skirt steak, carnitas, I can't remember the last one but there's 5 in this order compared to 4 or 2 in the other orders. They don't really allow you to mix types of tacos. That's why I recommend the mariachi. But definitely a great restaurant, woth grat food for a great price very affordable. The service is good the only reason why I gave a 4 is that I felt that they got overwhelmed when it got busy. And they seemed kind of reluctant to swap put my friends drink when he didn't like it. Mind you it was the most expensive on the menu 300 pesos. I get it you don't want to miss out on the up-sale but if you lr customer doesn't like it there's not much you can do. I can't remember the name of the drink but it was a traditional Mexican drink that they serve in a clay pot. It's was just too salty for our palate. He did offer to remake it with less salt, but we declined. All in all another great place to eat!!!

P.S. one if my deciding factors was that they did not pressure or harass you to come eat there. The food...

Our group recently ate here and had a bit of a mixed experience. We ordered a variety of dishes including the Sopa Azteca, enchiladas, and a hamburger, all of which were quite good. Unfortunately, the quesabirria was a letdown, lacking in flavor. A highlight though was the orangeade – it was delicious!

Service started out strong, getting us seated quickly, but became less attentive and a bit slow as the meal progressed. We also noticed a 15% tip was automatically added to the bill total and wasn’t itemized separately, I personally prefer to see the tip clearly separated from the food and...

I've been staying in the Canopy by Hilton hotel nearby for the past 5 days and have already been here 3 times during that period. The food is absolutely delicious, the staff is excellent (fast, attentive, helpful), and the atmosphere is perfect for the end of the day when I wanted to wind down and relax. My favorite for dinner is the green enchiladas and a strawberry margarita- yum!! Thank you so much to the amazing staff, you've made my time here memorable and I hope others will get to experience the same...
