Absolutely horrible experience, if lower than 1 star was possible I would. Firstly, we were there for our anniversary trip which we told them. All was good when we ordered drinks and we were one of only 3 tables in the restaurant however, once another table of 6 came it all went downhill. We were unable to talk to our server who seemed to forget about us and by the time we were ordering food the other table of 6 was already eating food and drinking! I’m not sure if they gave a tip upfront to prioritize their table or if the staff is just racist since we’re foreign and the other table was Mexican. We waited around 1 hour for food after ordering and I decided to not waste anymore time. Gave money for our drinks and left. Keep in mind the place is not even full there are only 3 tables being served still. We arrived long before the other tables and didn’t even order a lot but somehow didn’t get any food. The server said sorry with a very unapologetic attitude. Do not support these staff, do not support this restaurant. Just give them bad reviews and avoid...
Read moreI typically dont like writing bad reviews that hurt businesses, however i had high expectations for this place and was extremely disappointed. Food was okay at best. I've had better sushi in Rogers, Arkansas, and i prefer raw sushi. Also you would think next to the ocean the menu would have alot more options but they didn't. The service was okay but at the end I was shocked to see they were offering a 14.00 exchange rate rather than 16.40 that was offered around the city. The waiter rudely came back to the table and complained that I left such a small tip but not my fault their exchange rate is a rip off. You're honestly paying for the aesthetics/atmosphere. I'd save your money and go elsewhere. Also my wife got sick off the food and that was her first time after eating raw fish in multiple restaurants/cities. Denver, CO,...
Read moreThis Japanese restaurant located at La Isla II in the Macao Casino was a pleasant surprise and we had an amazing meal. The ambience is contemporary yet beautiful and very intimate. The cherry tree in the middle of the dining area is both welcoming and aesthetic. They have an extensive drink menu and we started with cocktails that included a lychee martini and an espresso martini. Appetizers that we enjoyed included the duck confit baos and gyoza dumplings. The waygu beef mini burgers were delectable. Our sons shared an order of the ramen with pork belly. We enjoyed three sushi rolls: the dynamite, spicy tuna and Alaskan king crab roll. Desserts included green tea ice cream, a matcha layer cake and a rich imperial chocolate cake. The staff was very attentive and the service...
