🚨Hand down the worst dining experience of our lives! 🚨

A warning for any potential customers… Please read this before you enter this establishment ‼️

We ordered x2 cocktails which arrived frozen and completely tasteless.

Our meals arrived within 2 minutes of ordering, what does that say about the food?! We both had the driest Birria Tacos, again completely tasteless and were VERY chewy.

We were the only customers in the establishment, this should have been enough of a warning sign however we gave them benefit of the doubt even though it was 6pm. I have NEVER felt so intimidated in any situation in my whole life, the waiter stood next to the both of us looking at us during the whole time.

All the bar staff were also pacing up and down the establishment past us without smiling or even saying hello, nothing was said throughout the whole experience. The only time we had ant engagement was when the waiter asked for a tip at the end of our time there, of which 15% was already added to the bill.

Our total bill was $2040 Mexican Pesos for x2 people (Taco’s and a Cocktail each)

Shocking from all staff members, there was no music or atmosphere at all here…. on the way out they were all standing next to us trying to get us to buy souvenirs!!

🚨AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS, NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN...

This was a stop on an arranged tour through our resort. We are used to the high pressure sales in the area, but this was our first experience with outright rudeness.

The store manager, Ekram, was showing me some candy as we were walking around. I am not the kind of person who picks up everything I see as I want to take in the merchandise in the store before settling on what to buy. I had a few things in mind including some very expensive pottery.

I told the manager, “let me think about it, “ and continued on. As I was walking away, he slammed the packages down and mocked me to the sales person escorting us around (also very annoying to hear someone try to sell you on everything you pause at). They then used a few vulgar Spanish insults that I will not repeat here. I have learned you need to remain calm in other countries so I told the man walking us around that I didn’t appreciate his managers insults and ended our tour right then. I was then called crazy by the workers.

What a disappointing experience it was to be there, unfortunately I was in a tour and I had to wait outside for my shuttle to come back was the only way to avoid people literally chasing me and being overly pushy about what my purchases should look like? Like what? Merely putting feedback for the experience at this place. Staff is one of two things; desperate to make a sale with a careless greedy attitude, or rude and absolutely disregard your precense if you’re not following up with their uncomfortable game of “sales” if That’s how they call it.
