Krocante Bistro — Restaurant in Chiapas

One night, quite tired of eating Mexican food for almost every meal, I decided to look for some pasta , which landed me at this place. I got a takeaway of the spinach and ricotta ravioli paired with a tomato cream sauce (my favourite pasta combination of all time) . As soon as I took my first bite I knew that this was probably, quite easily, one of the best versions of this dish and one of the best ravioli preparations I'd ever eaten. It was so SO good. A friend took a bite and instantly stated that she would be going back to order the same for herself the next day. This pasta was SO good, so fresh, so perfectly seasoned and such a great quantity that I have craved for it every single night since I've left San Cristobal. We were informed while getting the take away that this place is known for their pizza. And I would 100% believe it. If their pasta is so astonishingly good and it's still the pizza that is hyped, the pizza must be the best on the planet.

10/10 for the pasta. Would blow up all my money eating this stuff if I lived...

Excelente lugar para cualquier ocasión, solos o acompañados, la comida excelente y el lugar muy bonito. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 El párrafo anterior había sido mi experiencia en krocante San Cristóbal en Marzo 2022, pero hace una semana el 23 Sep para ser exacto teníamos una reserva para 5 personas para celebrar a un buen amigo la reserva hecha desde hace meses y nos hablaron una semana antes para cancelar por que tenian un evento privado que había subido de números de asistentes y pues decidieron cancelar mi reserva sin dar ninguna opción. Pero 2 personas de los que íbamos estábamos invitados al evento privado pues era el rompehielo de una boda al día siguiente de 2 personas que apreciamos mucho. Por eso reservamos como decimos en México para matar 2 pájaros de un tiro, pero no se pudo cambiamos los planes y asistimos al evento privado y estas son solo algunas observaciones. No tienen experiencia en eventos privados, No tenia suficiente personal el día del evento para toda la gente que llegó al grado que hubo gente que prefirió salirse del evento por que no la atendían. No había un responsable o gerente que pudiera dar la cara pues pedí 2 veces hablar con el y nunca fue. Al pagar sólo aceptaban efectivo y había personas que llegamos prácticamente directo al evento y no traíamos efectivo y ahí a ir al cajero y regresar por que no cobraban con tarjeta y al final la cuenta estaba equivocada cobraron unas bebida con otras confundieron nuestra cuenta con la de unos amigos pero les pusieron a ellos cosas de nosotros y viceversa por eso ya las pagamos así. Reconozco el esfuerzo del poco personal, la amabilidad y atención con la que atendieron pero el dueño o quien administra solo aceptó el evento por la entrada de dinero sin asesorarse o cubrir las posibles necesidades del evento privado. Mi solicitud sigan solo como restaurante al público en general y si van a tener eventos privados OK pero que se asesoren o contraten un coordinador de eventos. En esos...

We were half vegan and half eating regular. The salad, ravioli and the pasta were amazing but the vegan food was the most surprising- a portobello with vegan cheese (homemade and one of the best we had as vegan) plus the best vegan empanada! Great service, the chef and the waitress were patient to all our requests. A couple of days later we came to taste the vegan pizza and we had a great surprise!
