Very happy with tonight’s dinner at La Bamba marisqueria! My boyfriend and I visited this place at the beginning of our stay for a lovely breakfast and decide to come back for our last dinner in the island - and it didn’t let us down! We started with a very nice plate of squid ring, together with a portion of nachos and shrimp broth kindly offered from the house - which was delicious! If you like chipotle mayo you should definitely order some as it’s home made and it taste so good we couldn’t stop eating it. As main course we ordered a shrimp cocktail - the sauce was super tasteful - and a plate of fried fish which was very fresh and flavourful. The service was very pleasant and quick, and Reina took very good care of us! Excluding drinks we spent around £40 with tips- which is a very fair price considering some places in the island can be insanely expensive, and the portions were so big we had to skip the dessert :) - honest service and great value for money! highly recommended for a breakfast/quick lunch/nice dinner to anyone...

As an appetizer, we enjoyed little mugs of a spicy shrimp broth as well as ceviche tostadas, and sipped glasses of light and refreshing sangria. The buttery mojarra was perfectly seasoned and was accompanied with beautifully caramelized garlic. Juan said that it was the best mojarra he has ever eaten.
We had the pleasure of chatting with the charming & friendly owner, Eduardo, and hope to come back and spend more time with him. His musical playlist for our dinner was eclectic and surprising. I’d like to learn more about where he found all these songs and why he chose them.
Thank you for a wonderful and...

Ambience and place is very cosy. Decor is super cute and inviting. Definitely a nice way to spend the morning. Staff was also very friendly and attentive!
Food wise, it was also decent. I had the scrambled eggs with chorizo and the shrimp picada. Scrambled eggs were great but not a standout. Shrimp picada was tasty but maybe a bit too much sauce for my taste. My partner had the ham omlette. It was good but also not a standout. Drinks were a large portion and coffee was decent. Prices were also good and fair for what we got.
On Google Maps, the spot is a bit misleading. It's right on the main street - look opposite Rosa Mexicana for a small staircase lined with a large seashell...
