I really wanted to love this place but I was a bit underwhelmed with everything I tasted. I had the tuna steak and asked for rare but it was way too rare and still cold. They put it back on the grill for me for a little bit more which helped but it was still just alright. The salad that came with it was a poor excuse for a salad but the rosemary potatoes were amazing. The margarita was also pretty good but not the best I’ve had on the island. Last, I tried the limoncello tiramisu which was also subpar - too much filling (custard? whipped cream?) and not enough of the breading/lady finger cookies. It also barely tasted like lemon.
Service was awesome though. Every staff member I encountered was very nice and spoke at least some English. They take credit card although it depends on the signal like anywhere on the island. We started with appetizers, the tuna tartar and the caprese. Both were delicious as were the focaccia and rolls that were served. There were 3 specials for the holiday and the seven of us all ordered the same two, but there was remorse at no one ordering the third option. Our food did not take long at all, and was phenomenal. The sausage tortellini was sooooo amazing as was the farfalle with pesto, shrimp and tomatoes. Our party was too full to order dessert, but in love with the meal that some of us left with dessert. Basically, Italian cuisine but with a Mexican and even Asian twists. Very caring and attentive staff. You can tell that the chef keeps everything under control, has things in order and really cares to keep customers happy. Loved the ceviche here! Seafood pasta was very Italian — fatty and yum. Tuna steak was cooked a bit unusually, never had it like that before. We were celebrating my friend's birthday, and they were very kind to treat her a delicious piece of cheesecake with a candle — so sweet!
