TRIBU BAR — Restaurant in Quintana Roo

Very bad experience with Tribu bar, waiters are not Mexican )i suppose neither owner and cook), they announced “Happy Hour all night, 2x1 drinks. Went inside and asked about the happy hour, response was only the classics on the drinks card, it’s not even the real stuff what’s on the classics drinks menu, only cheap party alcohol. Ordered 2 original Mexican mezcals, both mezcals came in a very tiny mini “vaze”, without any original garniturw what belongs to a real Mexican Mezcal. Guys if you (i mean the waiters/owners whatever they call themselves) forst take some classes in Tequila or Mezcal, now you are serving cheap alcoholic drinks what can’t be even called real Mexican, and clients be aware of being ripped off. The drinks in the Happy hour 2x1 isn’t real Mexican and if you order real mezcal like, 400 conejos, Amaras or Montelobos they charge you 200 pesos for only 5 ml. While a normal tequila/ mezcal size is at least 50ml. Be warned thus bar is a real scam, better spent you money somewhere else where you get...

I had an absolutely fantastic time at this bar! The vibe was amazing - the perfect mix of laid-back and energetic :)

It is clear that the staff here seems to genuinely enjoy their work, especially Gleyser with his warm welcome and hospitality! Not only was he extremely friendly and attentive, but his recommendations were spot-on (we tried some amazing cocktails that we never would have tried otherwise!)

Amazing bar with extremely good cocktails that - to be honest - you would not expect in a hostel bar. The bartenders Meghan and Alicia who worked in New York are very experienced and talented in creating new cocktails. You can choose the direction of the taste and the licor and they will mix a high level cocktail.
