We had seen the lobster pizza on a few posts when researching and wanted to try it. We ordered guac, fries and pizza and drinks. The fries and guac came out almost immediately which would have been okay but clearly the fries were for with the pizza which came around 45 mins later. So they were cold by then. The issue is there are two kitchen that don’t communicate with eachother that issue needs fixing.

The worst part was the flies, now I’m aware the restaurant cannot control nature however they know they have a problem as they have fly nets to put over the pizzas that they should bring to the table BEFORE your pizza arrives, there are lots of staff standing at the bar doing whatever or sat eating whilst food is being put on the pass with flys swarming and they don’t immediately run over so whatever you eat flies have landed in it, you cant enjoy your food as there are flies everywhere we had to his it uk and went and ate on a bench nearby. The pizza was lovely I must say so no complaints to the chefs but the whole thing could be run better. I’d certainly not of came and wouldn’t eat here again. There are lots of things they could be doing to help the issue like citronella candles. Fans, smokers, had they had all this in place and there was flies I’d be like fair enough but the lame attempt with the odd fly net you may or may not get on the off chance and laid back staff, service without a smile just make it a no for me. Didn’t even get to eat here due to horrible service. My husband and I came on 10/1/21 around 3pm because we wanted the lobster pizza. We were greeted by a male with a hat on, demanded we wear mask to enter, we only found one and asked if it was okay to enter with just one, and he said no. We digged in deeper in our bag to find one and my husband found his buffer to wear. While we’re walking to the tables I asked if we could sit under a table that had the umbrella open because it looked like it was going to rain.. server said no because those tables weren’t open. Then we asked him to sit us somewhere where he can open an umbrella, still said he couldn’t do that. We said okay fine, just for him to realize it was going to start raining and started opening ALL the umbrellas. When it was time to order, we wanted the lobster pizza with mushrooms add on. He said NO it’s a special ordered pizza and we weren’t allowed add ons BUT he could add it on the side and bring us a bowl of mushrooms. It’s been a very long time since I’ve walked out of a restaurant due to a server bad customer service. . Is the pizza frozen? Is that why we can’t add on? I can’t put bad judgment on the place due to never trying their food but the service cut it for us and will never come back...

I think this place is listed on every Holbox food list and for darn good reason. They have they most amazing pizzas - and yes, you should come here and the lobster pizza. Note: Only if you don’t have allergies to shellfish.

This venue came highly recommended by our hotel concierge at the Mystique. And it was a great recommendation indeed. It was so good our son asked to visit again.

The service was attentive and friendly. The menu offered pizza and pasta but we were really in the mood for pizza only so we skipped it. The lobster pizza comes in two sizes. We opted to share the small between two people. It was more than enough. The pizza comes with three sauces. Be careful of the black sauce. It’s good but spicy along with the oil. Both sauces add their own unique twist to the taste of the pizza which is like a thin crust. The natural waters are soooo good as well.

The vibe and environment a mix of the jungle and beach is chill and welcoming for any type of group setting from families, to couples.
