What a shame that such a beautiful place is ruined by the rudeness and meanness of the staff. I've never been so badly received in a place !! They just want to take your money without any respect for you ! We came to get some sunbeds, sat down, got drinks, and asked for Wi-Fi. They explained to us that until we had lunch, we wouldn't have Wi-Fi (even though it was 11 a.m. and we promised to eat afterward). I don't know any beach club that forces us to eat the minute we get our sunbeds! We weren't allowed to wait a bit. Then a very bad storm hit, it started to rain heavily, we took shelter in their restaurants and were refused entry on the pretext that we weren't getting our food right away (we were customers, and we were just planning to sit down for shelter and have lunch afterward, but it was raining a lot for the moment so we just wanted to wait 5mn). We were customers of their beach club, but they kicked us out even though it was a storm. The staff speaks badly and refuses to listen; this is no way to treat customers. It is shameful and unacceptable. I do not recommend it at all,...
Read moreWe have been in Isla for a couple of weeks now, and this was the first beach club we went to. The whole process of getting a chair and umbrella was a bit confusing. Thank God my husband is Latino and speaks spanish because it was a bit confusing. They aren't as welcoming as I would have hoped, but once we got all the details situated, all went smoothly. The location is under renovation, so if you are there on a weekday, expect construction noise. The one thing I liked about this place was the drinks. I'm a vodka and water drinker, and they always brought the vodka shot separately so you could add it yourself. This way, you know what you're getting. Many beach clubs we have visited don't do this, and I swear they aren't putting the correct amount of liquor. It's also quite difficult to find your server most of the time. But this is quite common at most beach clubs in the area. Very nice spot, though. Will probably be better once construction is completed. Don't hesitate to visit here, though. Once the initial confusion of obtaining chairs is completed, you'll...
Read moreWe were very disappointed with our experience here. The food was underwhelming — the only thing we truly enjoyed was the guacamole and Horchata. The lemonade tasted like it came from an instant packet, and the “hibiscus” drink was actually just cranberry juice.
We had rented beach chairs and an umbrella to enjoy the sunset, and had just paid for them an hour prior. While the water was beautiful and the sunset itself was stunning, the service was extremely poor. No one told us the chairs would be taken away at 7 PM. When staff came to collect them, they were rude and disrespectful — one of them even began folding a chair while my mother-in-law was still sitting in it, without saying a word. As a result, we ended up without chairs or shade despite having paid for them.
The scenery was gorgeous, but the lack of hospitality and the way we were treated left a very bad impression. Unfortunately, we would not recommend this restaurant or their beach...
