Two days ago while visiting a friend for the holidays I woke up and felt like having some fresh from the oven croissants and pastries and would treat the guests with these for breakfast. I turned on Google Maps on the phone and typed in Bakery near me. Up pops a bakery about a mile away. No problem, easy walk with my dog Snowball. I get less than 4 blocks and I see this bakery named Artison. Wow, why didn't this one come up it is a lot closer! The owner didn't know why her business didn't show as a selection, but did know she was a participant. Just then a tray of these HUGE glazed and frosted cinnamon rolls ame out of the back kitchen for display along with some flaky turnovers stuffed with apple along with some other tempting goodies. I grabbed four cinnamon rolls and 2 of the apple turnovers and returned to my friend's home. The rolls were so large we had to cut them in half and share. They were the best cinnamon rolls I have had in Mexico and am fortunate that I found this place by accident. Artisan Bakery is a place everyone in the area should know about.    Read moreRude staff. I just went in to buy bread. Sheila, the woman at the register was attending two customers and there were 3 others choosing bread, including myself. I realized there were no platters so I politely asked her for one seeing as they were all scattered behind her at the back table. I was in a rush and so I decided to ask. She very rudely tells me: can you wait, can't you see I'm busy (with other customers). I understand that, but if she had only said it in a nice way... Maybe if she did her job correctly and made sure platters were available. It only takes a second to hand me a platter, it wouldn't be taking away from other customers. The other couple behind me grabbed bread with their bare hands and put them back (ew)... Precisely because there were no platters! I felt discriminated against because the other customers were White and I'm a local. The manager came to take my complaint but she was just kind of shrugging everything off. I will never return. I had told everyone to come here but I will just switch going to Pan de Cada DÃa and tell everyone about them too. This is...

A full-service shop with loyal customers, though prices track higher than more traditional Panaderia, options span Cookies to Viennoiseries with the latter unfortunately flaccid in the setting of coastal humidity plus hot temperatures.
Faring better with jumbo Cookies served thin, each bite chewy with bright Baking Spices, Mexican Wedding Cookies are another highlight while Apple Strudel and Sticky Buns are good but not great by comparison to...
