We came to this place because this is one of a few places in city that has hookahs but unfortunately they have no idea how to serve it, so we had to „start“ it on our own which wasn’t a problem since we’re in Mexico not in Turkey and it is understandable that they are not very knowledgeable about hookahs. They gave us only one coal for the medium size hookah, and of course it burned very quickly and we had to ask for the second one. They charged us 85 pesos for this additional coal which is quite surprising assuming that normally medium size hookah goes at least with two coals not one. So because of this fact we decided to tip them less then 10% of the bill but the guy who served us decided that he wants more tips and added 10% to our bill without our permission (we paid by card). Fortunately the card requests PIN and we simply declined the transaction, after that he got very nervous and started to explain us in Spanish that we have add more tips than the amount we wanted. Wow! That was disgusting! Not to mention that other staff was quite nice to us and provided pretty decent service. But sorry this situation is an attempt of fraud and it is...
Read moreThe worst bar in Puerto Vallarta. First, the drinks weren’t good at all and were very pricy. Second, the SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE. We all ordered drinks and my boyfriend asked for one vodka soda and they brought him two, and when he politely told them that he only asked for one, the waiter took his mask off and started yelling at us saying that we asked for two, which we did not, but he refused to take it back and walked away from us after yelling and arguing. Later, because of this horrible service (we did not enjoy a minute at that bar), my friend wanted to leave them 10% tip and the waiter(another one) said: “what is this, in the U.S. you guys tip 20%, those $5 wouldn’t do anything to me” and started arguing and complaining to my friend who was trying to pay while being super rude and telling him that he MUST tip more. At the end, they requested his ID and took picture of both his ID and his credit card. PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE, it’s not worth your money, it will ruin your night and horrible...
Read moreVisited this place recently, hoping for a fun night out, but it ended up being quite disappointing. First off, the hookah was way overpriced at $75, which felt steep for what was offered. The atmosphere was practically dead since it was low season, and there wasn’t much going on to make up for it.
The staff was okay but not accommodating. Despite the place being almost empty, they refused to provide complimentary coal, which seemed unreasonable given the circumstances.
What really took things downhill was the way the manager, Muriel (I may have the spelling wrong), handled our concerns. When we expressed dissatisfaction with the service, she focused on matching the signature on the ID to what we signed on the payment receipt, which felt unnecessary and unprofessional given how empty the place was. We even offered multiple cards and IDs, but she kept giving us poor explanations.
Overall, with the high prices, lack of atmosphere, and questionable service, I expected much more...
