Blind Tiger — Restaurant in Jalisco

We are really glad someone in Monterey, (California) recommended this place to us. We would not have wanted to miss the Blind Tiger. The two folks running the place are wonderful and the drinks are second to none that I have ever experienced. If you just want a "regular" drink, this is not the place. The "bartender" (I wish I could remember his name) was amazing. Fantastic personality and he is really a master at creating amazing drinks. We were certainly impressed and enjoyed being there. We also look forward to dropping back next year. Thanks guys.

Update...a few years later... New location and YES still amazing. When we saw the Blind Tiger was open again we were thrilled. It's a part of our "must go' places in Vallarta. The Blind Tiger just has it's own great vibe and, as stated previously, these folks are truly "cocktail artists" if there is such...

This is the coolest cocktail bar in PV! I love the old school speakeasy type decor inside. The bar table is so long and welcoming and it was nice sitting in front of the bartender!

There are many cocktails to choose from which can make it difficult. I was very very happy with the two that I ordered!

The Riga 1752 was so nice and Creamy. It was like drinking a smooth dessert.

I also really liked the Cantus Terra. It was served in a very tall unique glass with a delicious cracker and imitation caviar. All three paired so well together, I loved it!

My boyfriend had the pineapple elexir. It was smoked which was cool to watch. And I loved the small details like the flower inside the ice ball.

Overall this place is a must visit if...

As an adverticed mixology bar, expectation is high, don't get me wrong,experience was good, and I will give it a 2nd chance. Details: Menú typo and color chosen aren't the best with this low (cool) lightning. I asked for my favorite cocktail for 10 years, and it was low on Green Charteusse because it is hard to find? Maybe, but the price would make sense if the balance makes sense, way more focus on duties than hospitality. Overall, a very nice bar, cool atmosphere, really cool spirits selection. Do not expect ingredients/techniques that are not used in other cocktail bars. Some dry snack to enhance appetite...
