I really wanted to love this place, in fact I did but I was pretty let down by the food and coffee. This cafe has everything going for it, friendly staff, amazing design, great setup, lots of seats and outlets for chargers, board games, books, etc… great cafe to hang out in all day or work or read a book. The downside was the coffee wasn’t nearly as good as I expected. Either it was the oat milk or the syrups they used, but it left a bad aftertaste in our mouths - kinda like when you have stevia but different. Maybe they use monk fruit to make their syrups was my best guess. I had a flat white and my partner has a moka, both had similar aftertastes. We also had the waffle, it was missing a little something, it was pretty plain. I had a croissant with jam, jam was great but the croissant was hard and a little overheated.
The other thing to note, the entire neighborhood is going through some sort of repaving and so the streets are entirely dirt and mud. Wouldn’t recommend walking here. I still want to give them another try and maybe get some other coffee with just good old natural...
Read moreI think a very poor nutritious value... Expensive as they are serving a sandwich with a nice bread but nothing inside except cucumber (cheap) instead of cheese or abocado, the sandwich is right rather poor with a slide of Turkey and a Russian salad I thought 180 pesos is expensive for what it comes with it. Now he replied with the same excuse but now his answer is completely defensive and accusing me of insulting.... poor guy if he is able to lye so openly, what to expect from his business. In any way I did not insulte anyone. I said with an honest answer that I was not happy with the sandwich, since he asked, I never had such a sandwich poorly in taste with mayonesa and bold bread. I am on a wheelchair so we stoped at his place for a bite before going to Dr. appointment. What disgusts me more now about this place is how he is accusing me of insulting . Obviously he takes honesty as a insult . Never going back there and I will let know everyone on my community of his behaviour and...
Read moreDear sir. In response to your response. I'm sorry. It is nothing personal. Some people don't use sugar, especially on a high quality coffee. Sugar heads don't really know. The only reason I know a tiny bit about coffee is because I had a coffee company in Hawaii. Sour, bitter coffee is generally not a high grade. It doesn't matter what country the coffee comes from. I've had 100 dollar a pound Jamaica Blue mountain that was on par with my Hawaii coffee. We have 5 grades in Hawaii. The local coffee here is pretty good if it's a carbonized espresso roast. The mill in Tepic had some high grades of green coffee i bought and had roasted. and they sort beans with a gravity table. I've never had good coffee all over Mexico from Veracruz. Chiapas has some good coffee. It is very hard to beat a high grade Columbia coffee with a Full City Roast. It may Not matter. Most are sugar heads. 10% or less? Know the difference? Good luck and bless you and your staff. Note. Didn't have food. Just...
