Updated: Our server, Graciela, was absolutely wonderful! She was patient, kind, and very attentive to our needs. I personally think she looks like a graceful ballerina! She made is an incredible experience!

The atmosphere was a lot better during the day. The music wasn't overbearing and we could easily hear and converse with one another.

FETTUCCINI ALLA ROUTA PARMEGIANO was the dish I had on this visit, recommended by Graciela as her favorite. The presentation of my dish was so neat! My dish was made right at the table (video included). The texture of the pasta was amazingggg, one of the best pasta experiences ever! The shrimp from my dish and the fried calamari was a little bit overcooked, making the seafood more chewy and less succulent. ORZO DI MARE ALLA CHAMPAGNE, the dish I had the night before, the seafood was well-prepared and preserved both the texture, moisture and taste of the seafood!

My daughter had the SPAGHETTI POSITANO dish. She seemed to enjoy it. Miguel Leal is outstanding! We had experienced a minor issue that he resolved quickly and effectively. While we spoke, I felt heard, respected, and my feelings validated. This is so very much appreciated. Very impressed by how he handled a messy situation with ease, kindness, and empathy.

We were quickly seated with no wait time at all and they were very accomodating to allow us to store our luggage along the wall while we dined.

Our server was very kind and sweet. The food was delicious. My daughter, an extremely picky eater devoured her Magherita pizza, while I enjoyed my seafood orzo. I found my dish delicious, except that there was a tad too much salt on the orzo. This is pretty typical of many restaurants, so it didn't bother me that much. I was very happy with how pleased my daughter was because meal times sometimes can be very difficult with her picky preferences.

The restaurant itself is very clean, and modern. It has an upscale feel. We were seated right underneath the TV and it was extremely loud where we could not converse with each other without straining, nor could we converse easily with the wait staff. It would've been preferable to have an option for a separate part of the restaurant that wasn't loud like a sports bar for normal family dining, as opposed to sports...

If I could give this place 6 stars I would. I ordered the "Pasta alla routa parmisanio" and I have ascended to a different plane of existance. My third eye has opened. I felt like the guy from the movie Ratatouille when he eats the ratatouille. The best pasta I've had in my entire life - even as a self proclaimed pasta connoisseur. When your meal is ready a big cart is brought to your table. They cook it on a portable stove in front of you and add sauce and pepper. The man then scaraped a good chunk of cheese from a giant full sized cheese wheel sitting readily waiting on his cart. Then, they cooked the already delectable pasta a bit more and plopped it into the cheese wheel. It was then all stirred together with the cheese melting into the pasta. I felt like I had died and gone to heaven. Then, he poured the pasta onto the plate and added truffle sauce on top with truffle shavings. I had a bite and was instantly stunned. The noodles were obviously fresh. The sauce was creamy and cheesy. The truffles and truffle oil added an interesting woody tang but nothing that was overpowering to the cream and cheese. They danced perfectly in sync on my tongue. I savored every single bite, not eating for hunger but for enjoyment and satisfaction. If you by chance are in Porta Vallarta Mexico, I highly encourage to try this for yourself. The meal, with the show, was very reasonably priced. The service was fast and easy to talk to even if you do not speak Spanish. The portions were generously sized, I even had leftovers to take home. I am going to think about the perfection that this pasta is for the rest of my life. I would do anything to eat this pasta again. I highly suggest you try this....

We stopped in for an early light supper and cannot wait to return when we're hungry. The place is big, bright and a little " chain" or "corporate" looking but in a good way. Danish modern kind of cool. The food and the service blew us away! We had a mango white wine sangria full of fruit for which the server brought us spoons when we had finished drinking. He said people like to eat the mango so we did! Fresh hot crusty bread accompanied by EVO and balsamic with fines herbes. Hubby had a veggie and chicken pasta soup, we shared a Caesar salad and i had the calzone. The soup was delicious, the salad was light and fresh and big enough for two to share if having something else, and my calzone was hot, fresh, bready, stuffed with meats and cheeses and came with the most amazing dipping sauce spiced up with arbol peppers. I was expecting to share but one bite convinced me not to. It was simply the best calzone I've ever eaten and the sauce was just the right level if spicy for this spice lover. We had no room for dessert but will be back again tomorrow or the next day. As we left we walked by a table where they were preparing the fettuccini in aged parmesan in a huge wheel of parm and the smell made me drool despite my full tummy. That is what I'm ordering next time and I can't wait. (Is it okay to order the calzone for dessert after the fettuccini? Don't judge me! It was that good!) No photos this time but I promise...
