I had the ensalada betabel which came plated very beautifully. Not speaking enough Spanish I failed to see that this had yogurt (maybe). I’m not really sure what the white sauce was because it was very light. It matched the arugula and sea salt so nicely I forgot that I was vegan for 15 minutes.

Since no longer vegan was happening in real time I also ordered the enfrijoladas (sp). They were tasty though needing some salt. I’ve never had this dish before so I can’t judge the traditional flavor. It was very simple and uncomplicated. I added onion and jalapeños to each bite for some flair and spice.

My main reason for coming was to pick up pastries and some sauces. I arrived at around 3:45 and they were down to about 8 breads total. I grabbed what looked like a raisin and walnut bread and some chimichurri sauce to go.

The place is small, but lovely, simple and nice (specially at night) to see the water mirror by it´s side. The food is good, little bit pricey, but the place and surroundings justify it.

Service is good and the food will be sufficient, so perhaps consider to share (if you are not alone)
