Kaneishi Sushi & Ramen Bar Midtown — Restaurant in Jalisco

Just a terrible experience really. The food was very average, not remotely close to Japanese flavours and quite bland. Worst of all was the fact that my 2 year old sons fried vegetables had two pieces (1 small 10mm, 1 large 30mm) of fried PLASTIC that thankfully I ate instead of him and was able to spit it out and found the other piece after searching. Then we noticed that our fried rice had blue spots in it. Chef told us it was from spices but we didn't believe him as have eaten rice all over the world and never seen blue spots in a rice meal (like actual tiny spots, not discolouration from garlic/purple onion/herbs. Today (next day) we have diarrhoea, so that confirms to me that the rice was moldy. Finally the water brought us the wrong tables bill when we asked for the cheque. Overall the place just seems incredibly poorly run. We are grateful they gave us one meal free that had the plastic in it, but I'd rather have paid full price and not had potentially harmful food. Honestly I'd recommend never going there. (Have added photos of the spotty rice but didn't get photos of the plastic as they took it...

Place is ok. It's a Fast Food Market. The place is on the roof top of the shopping mall, it's fresh and windy, great for Guadalajara warm weather.

Regarding the restaurant, food is good, prices are little bit above the average but worth it.

They have good beverages, japanese and coreans.

P.S. Make sure to be close to the restaurant, they have just a few tables... Because if you seat in the common area they will barely see you, or try to attend you. That's why I...

Al llegar nadie te asigna mesa o se acerca a ofrecerte un menú (al menos no en mi experiencia y la de otros tres clientes posteriores a mi). Después de 10 minutos de darle 3 vueltas al menú esperando atención detuve a un mesero para ordenar y después de casi 10 minutos de haber ordenado comando mi orden, no hubo uno de mis platillos. 15 minutos después, me informan que se habían terminado las bebidas que ordene. Uno de mis platillos fue entregado a clientes que iban llegando y ordenaron lo mismo y el otro fue tratado de entregar en otra mesa donde no habían ordenado aún.

Solo cenamos ramen, pero la calidad es muuuuy baja, la pasta venía pegada/dura, no tiene casi ningún ingrediente extra, el caldo sin sabor, no vale los 200 pesos que...
