On a rainy nite, I walked by and the diner like appearance drew me in. Comfort Mexican food at it's best. A whole lotta love, time and experience go into their recipes. Sometimes, even though I thought I knew what was coming, the flavor explosion was a surprise. Do NOT judge this book by its cover. Plus, Mama's homemade house sauce will knock your socks off. I couldn't finish my whole meal, but took it to go. They gave me more of the sides as well and the service/price can't be beat. Definitely one of my top 5 favorite meals...

Super friendly atmosphere. We got there and it was all locals and the older gentleman seems to know everyone. It was a delight to partake in the scene. Pozole with mixed meat 5 out of 5. Super yummy. I was feening for Pozole and this local spot delivers delicious Pozole.  This spot is opposite the beach/tourist traps.  I got the large chicken Pozole and it comes with great additions and you get to make it as hot as you like.
