To the lovely ladies who have created a place to enjoy food from the heart. Salute. My pilgrimage to Puerto Vallarta and much anticipated return to Marisma was even better than my first visit. Good lord those tacos de pescado are the best I’ve ever eaten! It’s an honor to say I have been here. Much love. 🙏🥰 Tacos de pescado tacos de pescado tacos de pescado get your tacos de pascado aqui!!!!!!!! And anything else they make. Muy delicioso. EVERYONE at this stand eating knows. Knows how good these tacos are. A fellow traveler who sat beside me had such a joyous expression. She smiled, knowingly as I made yummy noises after each bite. After I looked around, she instinctively knew I was searching for the salsa verde. A salsa that undoubtedly, “defines” fish tacos. After passing me the divine condiment she beautifully ordered two tacos de pescado in perfect Spanish and we struck up a conversation. Sho told me how her family has visited PV for twenty years and she says she has dreams about these tacos. And I was witnessing her dreams being made for the first time since arriving in Pueeto Vallarta. Well, I too now dream of MFT! Every night since. I dream of I too, enjoying these divine pockets of pescatarian perfection for the next 20 years.

This was a stop on the Vallarta Eats Food Tour. ATMOSPHERE: This stand goes all out with covered seating for about 10 souls, including a hand washing station. MENU: Tacos, quesadillas, tostadas, calamari, marlin. BEVERAGE: Rice Water This was an odd drink. Rice is soaked in the water which gave it a subtle flavor. The liquid looked similar in color to iced coffee with lots of cream. Refreshing but not for me. FOOD: Mahi & Shrimp Tacos We received one of each. Both were battered tempura-style and served on soft corn tortillas. The batter flavor was very good, however I'm not a fan of seafood tacos. The fish was moist and tender. The shrimp was so long it stuck out of the tortilla on both ends. I'm not exactly sure how they possibly attached two shrimp together end-to-end. SERVICE: The ladies were extremely friendly and smiley. It's a well-oiled operation that ran smooth. TIP: I'm not sure if it's available to all, but our tour group was able to take a hands-on crash course on tortilla-making with the staff which involved rolling the dough and pressing it flat just right. OVERALL: Terrific choice for the seafood taco lover.

Great authentic Mexican tacos. The tacos were off the chart amazing! Homemade tortillas were lite with perfect flavor. The tacos were large than traditional street tacos in the states and they were Mexico pricing. We ordered the Pascado Capeado and my husband also got a Cameron Capeado. Definitely a budget friendly lunch. The only negative is that it was a bit off the beaten path and outside dining only (no a/c) think food cart style, there was three small tables off the side wall under cover from the sun but if you are looking to relax and get out of the heat after a day of visiting the shopping district in the sun, this is not the place. But if you are looking for great food that is good enough to attract locals, this is the spot! Definitely recommend! Please follow me and I’ll follow you back.
