DAK — Restaurant in Jalisco

Wow. This is the second time that I’ve traveled to Guadalajara in the last two months and I have been to this spot both times. I’m from out of town, but if I were local I’d definitely make DAK one of my weekly spots. The restaurant specializes in a type of Korean fried chicken that I haven’t been able to find anywhere else here in Guadalajara. The texture of the chicken is fresher than other places and the breading is light yet crunchy. The sauces are all great. I like to have my chicken with the sauce on the side but conventionally I believe it’s tossed in. Usually I’m not a fan of tteokbokki, but the way the simmered rice cake is served here is incredible. I tend to eat rice with my meals and having a soup with a meal like that is always best. For this, the Sopa de Pollo nailed the combination perfectly. Food: authentic Korean junk food experience haha, very good instant noodle ramen and fusion curry rice bowl with fried chicken. Remind me of Korean spa food.

Just that service is kind of slow so don’t come super hangry like we did😂

Good pricing. 2 entrees with 2 drinks for 480.

Will come back when I got the junk food Korean cravings again.

Este es el auténtico sabor del pollo frito coreano, sin adaptaciones ni fusiones para el mercado local en México. La razón por la que tiene pocas reseñas es porque este lugar abrió hace poco. Probé el pollo frito de BBQ en Corea y extrañaba ese sabor, ¡pero aquí lo encontré! El pollo sin hueso está hecho con carne suave de muslo y recomiendo especialmente la salsa picante dulce y la de ajo con soya. Los precios son accesibles y razonables. ¡Ojalá este lugar estuviera justo frente a mi casa! Sin duda, es el mejor lugar de pollo en Guadalajara. También disfruté mucho el ramen de pollo.

한국식 치킨이 그리워서 찾아왔는데 딱 한국에서 먹던 치킨 맛이었습니다!! 여러 한식집이 있었는데 Dak이라는 식당이름을 보고 닭에 자부심이 있구나 싶어서 오게 됐어요. 순살로 시켰는데 전부 닭다리살이었어요. 양념이랑 마늘간장소스 먹었는데 소스 묻혀있어도 바삭했고 같이 온 멕시코 가족들도 첫 한식이었는데 정말 좋아했어요. 다시 오고 싶다고 하더라구요ㅎㅎ 새해라고 떡국도 인원수 만큼 주셨는데 덕분에 한국 분위기를 느낄 수 있었어요🥹 젊은 사장님이시고 요리에 열정이 강하신분 같아요. 오픈한지 2달밖에 안되셨다던데, 승승장구 하셨으면 좋겠습니다. 나중에 과달라하라...
