I am so glad I came to this place! While looking desperately for an authentic cevicheria without wasting my money on those overpriced restaurants alongside the malecón, I ran into this lovely place owned by Felipe, who happens to be an ex-fishermen boat captain. His black-sauced aguachile and ceviche are out of this world. Tried them all, shrimp, tuna and marlin. An amazing experience and one of the highlights of our trip! We ordered the aguachile shrimp and tuna plates with black salsa and both were so delicious. The plates come with tostadas and were plenty of food for two people. The fish is all freshly caught in PV. We loved talking to and getting to know Felipe while we watched him prepare the dishes from scratch. He runs the restaurant out of the bottom of his family home where he’s lived all his life.
