Excellent Mexican food. By far the best torta ahogada in the city and I've lived here for 20+ years so I've tried them all and none of them even come close in any aspect. The sauce, the bread, the main ingredient, the taste is simply better than any other torta ahogada in the land of tortas ahogadas. We might have ordered too much food when we were there so we ended up taking the cauliflower wings back home +the two types of capirotada they had available, our family loved all of it. The service was lightning fast even tho the staff seemed calm and relaxed and the spot is very urban yet chill the only thing is that you can't smoke on the terrace. But really if you're in Guadalajara for tortas ahogadas don't even waste your time at any of the traditional spots they are trash compared to the torta ahogada la flaca offers, I guarantee you won't find comfort in the world of torta ahogada after...
Read moreMy wife and I had an excellent time here and it wasn't only because of the wonderful, unique food. The staff here is extremely kind, loving, caring and passionate. Our waitress, Sam was so attentive and very happy. We also had the privilege of meeting, Adan. What a kind and caring gentleman. When paying the bill I gave extra money because I was hoping to get change. Adan brought the money back to me to make me aware that I "paid too much". He he went out of his way to be honest and I'll never forget that. If you were in the area you should definitely come here. The food rivals the vegan spots over in New York City that I love. Homemade, artisanal...

The birria had to much cloves and the flavor was overwhelming also the menu says it comes with oysters mushrooms but it only had crimini mushrooms wich was quite disappointing because I know the difference in texture and flavor.
Las Enmoladas... the mole was delicious but the feeling was disappointing. The tofu did not belong there I think the plantain and queso filling would have been enough. The tortillas were tough.
We also had a a mushroom taco and requeson con frigoles taco they both were good.
The kombucha... WTH??? They sell some flavored water and they called it kombucha. May be they did not fermented it enough or they diluted with too much water... IDK but that was the biggest disappointment because it costed as...
