Punta Sal — Restaurant in Jalisco

It hurts me to give a bad review to them but this is two years in a year where have had issues with this restaurant as part of an all-inclusive package sold by Marriott Vacations. Food is delicious, our waiter was good and view is amazing but...

It's a surf and turf restaurant but on the package you cannot order any seafood. You can order a 780 peso steak dinner but not a 380 peso shrimp dinner. It makes no sense. Then if you go ahead and order the shrimp they won't allow you to charge to your room. We are on our third day of an 11 day stay and what started as a nice dinner ended up as an embarrassing situation as I dont carry cash or credit while enjoying an all-inclusive. I had to run back to room and get my credit card.

Embarrassing situation that could have been handled better and put cheaper seafood on the plan rather than making you order huge steaks costing more....

Yo fui a este restaurante ya que lo incluía mi paquete de alojamiento y fue un grabe error, elprimer dia nome dejaron entrar por mi ropa cuando MAS de la mitad de los comensales traian ropa de playa, flotadores y asi. La segunda que intente ingresar SI pude pero al ver que tenia la pulcera de todo incluido me pusieron trabas llegue 3:15 y me dijeron que cerraban cocina 04:30, despues el mesero asignado a mi mesa no nos puso atencion hasta despues de 15 minutos, a todos los comensales se les ofrecio un caldito para iniciar, a mi mesa no, cuando llegaron los platillos eran muy pequeños y otros incompletos, a pero a la mesa que estaba enfrente de mi QUE por cierto llegaron 4:15, les atendieron al momento, sus platos si estaban bien servidos y hasta el mesero que estaba en mi mesa les hacia buena cara, pero claro ellos no tenian pulsera del hotel y eso significaba que pagarían completo.

al final de mi "consumo" el mesero hizo algo que ninguno de los otros restaurantes me hizo, me entrego una cuenta con la propina que debía darle, cabe recalcar que yo pague un TODO INCLUIDO y puse una opción que venia con propinas incluidas y aun así siempre les damos unos 50 pesos en efectivo, pero viendo su comportamiento, sus modos y como a los demas que no traían un brazalete del hotel, la verdad le di la propina de mala gana.

Probably the biggest disappointment. It has a high rating on Google, but I don’t get the hype. The oysters were clearly not fresh. Crab salads and appetizers were bland, and the desserts were dry with a bitter aftertaste. That said, the ocean view was stunning — I even saw a whale jump out of the water while eating, right in front...
