RESTAURANT EL MESON MEXICANO — Restaurant in Juárez

There is a food court location of this restaurant in Patio Los Cabo's Mall on Carretera 19 Todos los Santos-Cabo San Lucas. We arrived late on Saturday for our stay at Diamante and went to the Soriana Hiper in this mall on Sunday morning to buy groceries. We wanted breakfast first and found that the only place to eat was in the food court. We'd never eaten in a food court before so we wandered around the options until we saw a long line at one, El Meson Mexicano. Having that many locals eating there made our decision. The woman at the counter was very accommodating and we had the best breakfast. Birria that was so good. Scrambled eggs and tortillas. Good local cheap food. You cannot miss...

The food was so good we forgot to take pictures. Seriously. This little gem is out of the way but so worth it. Try the barilla, it is a slow cooked mexican beef, made over like 8-10 hours, served in broth with tortillas. Pull chunks of meat out for a taco alongside the flavorful broth. It's like french dip tacos but authentic and so delicious.

Super cheap too, for a bowl of barilla and two lemonades it was only about $10 USD, and the barilla was plenty for two as a light shared lunch!

10/10. We've gone several times already, and forgotten to take...

We really enjoyed the environment, the food and the service here. We were tourists and they were very kind to us.
