One of the two best restaurants in cabo. Seriously. Cabo doesn't have a lot of impressive dining, but this place is impressive and consistent. Locals eat here -- and there's a reason why.
The ribs are legendary, (dry rub), but since ribs aren't my thing, I will just talk about the huevos rancheros: the most authentic and delicious yet simple meal I had in cabo. The BEST breakfast in cabo (and I got it for dinner too-- no big deal if you're late!) The margaritas are insanely fresh and homemade-- no mix. Lots of pulp, tart and super strong! Best margarita I have ever had-- can you believe it? Neither could I. The food is just insane. Again, best chicken mole I have ever had. I can't say enough about the service (lighting fast and kind) and the food (fresh, delicious, simple, authentic, substantial) and the drinks (fresh, substantial, delcious). Get off the damn strip and eat in the places that don't have loud music blaring and aren't trying to get you drunk. This place may still get you drunk, but it will only take one margarita and your wallet and stomach will thank you in...
Read moreThis was one of my favorite restaurants when I visited Cabo! You must order the rotisserie chicken. It's so juicy and delicious with the skin! I ordered the 1/4 chicken plate with rice and beans; it was the perfect size for me. The plates normally come with macaroni salad as a side, but since I'm gluten-free I substituted it for beans.
My friends that got the fajitas and enchiladas didn't like the chicken as much; I think it was just grilled and dryer, so I highly recommend you order the rotisserie chicken.
We also shared chips and guac. The salad is refreshing as well. Was confused if it came with a dressing or not so we just poured some green salsa on it. The ribs are great to share. Pretty good but nothing to write home about.
They also have super cheap piña coladas; strong yet delicious. Get the chocoflan for dessert!
It's a casual sit-down spot and the service was...
Read moreThis is an open air style restaurant that appears to do as much take out business as they do dine in. My experience was somewhat underwhelming. The chicken was OK but certaining exceptional. The ribs were as equaling uninspiring. Portions of each for the " combination " dish I had were probably the biggest disappointment. Up side is that the locals very much seem to love the place. Food service personnel are overwhelmed and there were a number of patrons getting frustrated with having to ask for the same thing a number of times. As a destination for a nice sit down meal this place falls far short. For a quick, not quite as fast as fast food meal, the place has good food at a...
