I've eaten at Restaurante Pop no less than 20 times. I used to travel to Cancun ~ 4-5 times a year and Pop was my favorite eatery. My ex-partner knows the owner of the restaurant and would always tell me how good a person the owner was. My ex told me that the majority of the staff had worked at Pop for 20+ years. The tamales are wrapped and steamed in banana leaves, not the corn husks I'd always seen. ...

My 7 year old lives for their sopa de lima. The servers are the absolute best I've ever encountered, and the food is fabulous. They have standard diner fare, Mexican specialties, and a cool...

The other day I ordered the eggs and bacon, with toast, side of fruit, coffee and came with side of black beans and tortilla chips for $140 pesos about 7/8 US dollars and way better...
