Hello. We ended up here by accident and let me tell you, this is the type of place that embodies everything wrong with the United States and the ‘west’ - First of all, the service was great. Lovely staff. But, this place looks and feels awful. Lose the swings. They gotta go. Very childish (And uncomfortable!). There was an Outkast song playing when we walked in (One of the best groups of all time), but then they playlist degenerated rapidly into that Ed Sheehan style disgusting music that’s made by teams of people who work for Apple with no soul or taste. NO MORE PLAYLISTS DICTATED BY SPOTIFY!!! Nobody wants to hear that! Play some Miles Davis, some Brian Eno, something with some class. Anything. And finally, the food was as bland as it gets. The veggie wrap and the enchiladas, both lacking any type of seasoning or spice or flavour at all, were a massive disappointment. The veggie wrap in particular seemed to consist of frozen lettuce and carrots perhaps microwaved momentarily prior to serving… Do not cater to the bland tourists, they are wrong! Give them spices and flavours! BE YOURSELF! The coffee was pretty good...
Read moreI had higher expectations of this place due to the pictures and vibe it gives off on Google reviews. I was expecting higher quality ingredients like whole wheat bread (menu says integral bread) and natural fruit smoothies. Their smoothies weren’t terrible, they just didn’t taste like they were 100% natural and had some sweetners in them. I ordered scrambled eggs with mushroom and there was absolutely no flavoring (pinch of salt or pepper) in them. They were plain eggs, that came with a side of bee black beans and plain white sliced sandwich bread that was toasted (no butter). In fairness, I ordered take-out so Idk if they would’ve had bread toppings while sitting-in. Overall the food wasn’t bad, just extremely simple and un-exciting. I just was expecting a more natural/organic vibe. Oat milk runs out kind of early (11am). But I’m grateful for their vegetarian and non-dairy options. They have good vibes as my take-away containers had “Love is Everywhere” written on it which I think is incredibly sweet. Their coffee...
Read moreOverall decent brunch Restaurant but definitely lacking items to be considered a full-service restaurant, menu is basic, like items I could make from home, lacking some flavor. Fortunately for me, the service was excellent. Paulina was an excellent server and even spoke some english, which is unexpected but greatly appreciated.
Sad to say they don't have one of the most famous drinks in Yucatan, it's called CHAYA, a very healthy green drink. You can find it everywhere here downtown, but not at this place. Please add chaya and increase menu items, menu is very small. Also, QR codes are so irritating, where is the physical menu for 2022? Covid is cancelled. We're done with digital menus, where is the physical ones? It's not any more dangerous then us touching QR codes which are reused multiple times. Overall, despite the setbacks I would...
