Just wow - hands down one of the best restaurants in Merida. It’s such a great spot and I’ll tell you exactly why - 1. Location, location, location. This gorgeous restaurant is right on paseo Montejo and it has valet parking to make getting in an out easy. Not to mention, it’s ON paseo Montejo, therefore, an easy walk from almost anywhere. Beautiful scenery, and incredibly decorated. 2. This place is seriously cool. They have great music playing all the time, live music on certain days, the colors are amazing, not to mention it’s an actual ART GALLERY / Bar, / HOOKAH BAR / restaurant- and does it genuinely not disappoint. 3. The vibe is AMAZING and it’s open until 3am!!! So this is where you can go for great drinks, music, and FOOD at 3am The FOOD! The food is genuinely incredible. Everything is made fresh, with high quality ingredients and it genuinely shows. We’ve gone here many times, tried different dishes and not a single one has disappointed. For example, their steak is tasty, and actually cooked to perfection - which is so hard to find in Merida. If you ask for medium rare, or whatever term, you’re really going to actually get the term you asked for. Steak is seasoned to perfection and every bite is genuinely to die for. For reference, we had the porter house, which was shared between two people and we still had left overs. It came with two very indulgent and delicious side- we picked the grilled veggies and mashed potatoes which were equally delicious and abundant. I’ve also had their aguachile, the pesto pasta, Argentinian sausage, truffled fries, and their hummus - all incredibly delicious, but while all those are wonderful reasons to try this place, it’s really their American burger with bbq sauce and onion rings that does it for me, every time. This is hands down one of the best burgers I’ve had in the world, and I’ve been all over. Definitely in my top 3. If these weren’t enough reasons to go to this delicious place, the service is also outstanding which again, for Merida standards, it’s saying a lot. The servers pay attention, keep coming to check on you and make sure your drinks are refilled. This isn’t the norm in Merida. I know they also have a full bar which my husband says their drinks are quite impressive, but personally, I haven’t tried so i cant really talk on those, but If you’re looking for a great place to have a fun time and amazing food, this is definitely your...
Read moreWe ordered shrimp ceviche and different tacos, they were so tasty and artsy looking! It was quite a long wait for the foods to be served though, that’s the first meal we had when visiting Merida, should have chosen to have dinner instead as that’s when the band and singer came in to jazzed up the night. The price was a bit higher given the location and chef’s time input in each dish. The marketplace a few blocks away made it a sleepless city, the musical playing in this restaurant lasted until midnight. Merida is a very tourist friendly city, I would have traded the days in Cancun to stay here longer exploring Uman, Yucatán, Cenote, and...
