Siqueff — Restaurant in Mérida

My friend and I came here to eat. She wanted lunch and got French onion soup and a sandwich. I tasted her soup and it was delicious. I had a breakfast plate of waffles, 2 eggs, bacon and fruit and enjoyed it immensely. The bacon was the perfect amount of crispy and the eggs had brown crispy edges, just the way I like them. Beautiful presentation. But the best thing for me was the coffee. It might be the best coffee I’ve had in town. Every sip had me making yummy noises.

The menu offers a wide variety of breakfast and lunch selections. The wait staff was smiling, friendly and helpful. I’m definitely returning to make my way through the menu.

We cannot say Thank You enough for several wonderful meals during our recent trip to Merida! Finding this restaurant by chance, we kept returning. The Bistec Siqueff was decadent and so delicious; Poc Chuc was tender and flavorful; and the Juevos Motoleños made such a great breakfast. They close at 6pm, but we highly suggest you come for a lunch or early dinner. Service was always attentive. We will miss dining here, but look forward to returning on our next...

It wasn't busy and we were able to take a table in the courtyard. It was a table with a nice view. My partner enjoyed his club sandwich and particularly the French fries. Unfortunately my meal came more than 10 minutes after his did. I can't say I loved the shrimp tacos. They were just okay. There was a lot of melted cheese and too many purple onions.
