Tacos were hit-and-miss, but mostly miss. Out of the five we tried, we only liked one - the ginger pork belly. That one was really good, perhaps even worth a quick stop.

Unfortunately, the others were extremely underwhelming. Bland and uninspiring. Sauces barely had any spice. Kinda reminded me of some "higher-end" Mexican restaurants in Europe that try to make their best approximation of a taco, without the actual "soul" of a taco. Toning down the flavors and the spice for the gentler palates... Boring.

I wish I could rate this place higher, since I live just a couple blocks away. But for a spot that specializes in 'gourmet' tacos, having only one that stands out just doesn't cut it for me. Service was good though - fast and friendly, no...

BEST TACOS I’ve EVER HAD! I’m not joking, and I’ve had a lot of tacos in my life…these are absolutely #1! There’s zero reason that there’s not a line down the street and wrapped around the corner. And the cocktails are incredible! I’m blown away, and that takes a lot. If they had chips and salsa(the American in me lol) I’d fly to Mexico City just for this place. Bartender and everybody were awesome. You have to come here, if you’re in Mexico City. It’s a must. Note: they were sold out of their #2 taco and of the nachos. I’ve decided I’m going back on Tuesday to...

We wandered into TacoBar because we were staying in the neighborhood and were blown away. Fantastic food, vibe, service and layout. Wonderful cocktails from the bar and a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy the flavorful food. There are two locations, so take your pick. Owner/chef Khristian de la Torre stopped by to chat and make some recommendations which were perfect. I’ve written restaurant reviews for places all over the planet and have no trouble putting this one in my top ten!...

Small loud place close to the Mercado Medellin. The interior is very dark and it is difficult to see what you are eating. The tacos were made with hyper palatable ingredients that were not in balance. The owner of the place disciplined his servers in front of us making for an uncomfortable situation.
