Chiquitito Café — Restaurant in Mexico City

This is a lovely small cafe that I would 100% recommend. The toasts are super delicious and I loved my hot chocolate. But what stood out for me was the excellent service. My toast accidently fell on the ground when I was beginning to eat. Not only did the staff help me clean up, they offered me a free toast to make up for the lost one. This was such a kind act and brightned my day, so please do visit this cafe and enjoy the vibes and good quality food!

Mal, malo, menos de mid-average. Comida: Pedí un sándwich de pavo, y mi hermana un baguette de jamón serrano… y a ver, entiendo que la masa madre es dura y crujiente etc… pero dios mío lo duro de esos panes. Terminamos con las encías y el paladar raspadísimo! Tenían buen sabor, pero el pan fue lo que de plano lo hizo casi imposible de comer. Pedimos dos matchas, uno semi cargado y otro dulce, lo único rescatable de los alimentos, me gustaron. Lugar: bien, pero, muy polvoriento. Aparte había una señora que no se si es una vecina gruñona… pero se la pasó barriendo desde antes de que yo llegara hasta que me fui, toda la banqueta, toda la calle, barrió casi casi en el establecimiento, lo que hacía que se levantara bastante el polvo, y que por lo menos yo que comí afuera, me pareció muy malo eso. Precios: Precios un poquito elevados. Y por lo que sirvieron? No lo vale tanto. Servicio: lo único bueno del lugar, la chica que nos atendió fue muy amable. En general: meh, la comida fea, las bebidas bien. Si piensan en ir aquí o a otra cafetería; definitivamente vayan a otra cafetería. The practice of asking for a tip before service is provided is ridiculous and greedy (all too prevalent in this area from what I can tell). Especially when they forget your order and you have to go remind them (otherwise an understandable human error).
