Mood: the lights dimmed suddenly at 6-6:15pm, if you have a dimming system, program them to dim smoothly over the course of an hour so the transition into the night mood feels comfortable and guests don’t notice it ;) you’re selling an experience not just food
Smoking inside the restaurant, this is 2022, would you rather keep one smoker client that’s going to spend 10k on his table and create bad reviews or 10 5k clients that have nothing to complain about

Read moreFirst of all, let me tell you that you will not find better steaks in the city. Their food is beyond fantastic, it's worth every peso. However, the service is not at the level of the food. The staff's behavior changes a lot depending on what you order (assuming it's reflected in the amount of tip they'll get). So if you are there for just a quick "cheap" (there's nothing cheap in this place) snack forget about kindness and smiles after you ordered.
Also kind of weird that the bathrooms have "vigilants", I mean, this is supposed to be a top place...and you will have to tip them for handing you the towels, soap, etc.
Last but not least, here, the no-smoking law is non existent. People are allowed to smoke and somehow encouraged by the staff. Not a problem by itself to me but just in case you are expecting a smoke-free environment for whatever the reason, just be aware that this may not be such a place. Long story short, beyond amazing food, with a service that will change its mood and attitude towards you depending on the amount...
Read moreIt was my birthday while in town, so I decided I wanted a nice meal to celebrate. It was a solo trip, and I wanted to do something at a small table or bar. I made a reservation beforehand via Whatapp, and that went smoothly. When I got there, I was surprised that I was seated at a large table alone when there were smaller options available. The service was good until a large and loud group started to be seated next to me and my waiter then turned all his attention to them.
Once they were seated, the smoking started and I knew I did not want to be around that. Felt a little let down by the experience and didn't even get dessert. It was almost like the wait staff were rushing me on. It's a shame because the music in the place was great and the food and drinks were great, too. I dislike that I was seated where I was, and the smoking in the restaurant was terrible. Don't know if I will go back. If I do, I will be more assertive about my experience especially given the amount of money I paid...
