El Diez — Restaurant in Mexico City

Food is pricy compared to the portion served. We asked for Picana for two and the side of fries was ridiculous . Even the medium mc donalds french fries had more fries than the one which was served to us . Then the server brought the picana to the table and it was raw !! Completely raw and we had asked it as medium . Then he went to kitchen and brought another fryer . It seems they wanted to grill the meat in front of us but they basically made us wasting time . At some point we asked them to grill the meat inside the kitchen because that it was not working at all . So when the meat finally came we had already eaten the fries and we had to eat the meat itself with no side at all . They have not offered anything else for the waste of time . The only thing I liked in this restaurant was the empanada . Otherwise , the food portion and time they make you waste doesnt not pay off . I could have eaten better for 1200 pesos in...

That was a fantastic experience! I didn’t take a pictures of the food, because I was enjoying everything, so had no time for that. We ordered empanadas for starters . They were so flavourful and tasty 🤤, I think it’s my perfect meal. For a main dishes we had salmon and arachera steak with sweet mashed potatoes pure. It was so tender, delicious 😋, so next time I’ll go with steak 🥩. Because for me sometimes it’s to heavy but here they made that meat very tender and smooth. For dessert we had brownie. For an Argentinian place, it left a lot to desire of. The empanadas were quite bland, the flavour of the chorizo and cheese was poor, specially considering chorizo is a type of food very rich in flavour on its own,still they managed to nullify that.
