Selection is extensive and the term is probably an understatement. You will likely find something at any price point for many global wines and foods. I went in for charcuterie products but they don’t have any fresh meats or cheeses or anything packaged that looked interesting. That’s okay, because wine fixes everything.
The problem comes in when security, staff and (what I’m assuming was) a manager relentlessly hovered around my person in the most conspicuous way possible, without ever asking if I needed assistance. Even when trying to get the attention of staff to ask questions.
Whatever your assumptions are as a manager or even just an employee, you should know how to engage patrons in a way that encourages or discourages activity based on your ideal outcome. Profiling is the best way to work yourself out of an additional profit.

This store is very extensive when it came to their liquor and wine selection, and it took us the better part of thirty minutes trying to figure out what we wanted.. There were two employees who were very helpful in showing us some good options. We ended up getting a bottle of red wine and a bottle of high grade champaign. Read moreStopped by to take a look at their Mexican wine selection thinking it was a wine store until I was told by a staff that you can purchase the wine, pay corkage and BYO to their adjacent tapas restaurant. They even had a section of gourmet provisionals in the back for most likely expats in the area. Returned that evening with my husband to eat there for dinner.
