This place was awesome! One of my best meals during my whole trip to Mexico City. Felt like a real local place, and a lot of people who seemed to be locals were eating there. I started with one of the "gorditas de dulce" sweet hotcakes, which are fantastic. I ended up ordering another one and could have eaten even more. They make them fresh in the front of the restaurant (you can see it) and they're brought to you hot. I then had a selection of five tacos the waiter recommended and they were all great. And they had a lot of meat, too! And finally because I was hungry and had been wanting to try chile relleno, I ordered that too and enjoyed it. (Between the two though I would recommend the tacos!) The waiter was super friendly and nice and the service was awesome. If you're looking for somewhere a little more local give this place a shot -- and try the gorditas de dulce (hotcakes)!

This place serves northern-style tacos, which is not easy to find in CDMX. Instead of corn flour tortilla, they use normal one, and it's pretty good. Cochipecho and adobo are quite similar; the adobo is a little bit saltier whereas the cochipecho is spicy. Carbito w papa is good, and there is no goat smell. Tinga is the best: it has a subtle sweetness and is slightly spicy. Machaca is okay. Quesadilla is super delicious. Although it only has cheese, it doesn't feel too much (ngán) at all. Gorditas is okay, a bit sweet, no filling. Google map says they close at 7pm but that's definitely not accurate because people still come at after that.
