The food was ok, but the service and atmosphere were not good. First and foremost I would have expected a place that call itself "la vineria" to give the wine menu with the food menu without asking for it. They didn't. Even after we asked for it, they forgot to bring it, so we had to ask for it again. Then the appetizers arrived with the wine manu and the waiter wasn't helpful at all at choosing the wine. Eventually we just ordered glasses, since there was no point to order a bottle at this point. In general the waiters were not attentive at all, while the restaurant was almost empty. There wasn't music or anything and it lacked...

La Vineria: Grandma's Cooking, Grandpa's Decor (But Good Wine!) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Looking for a cozy neighborhood spot with food that tastes like a warm hug from grandma?

La Vineria's got you covered. Seriously, the homemade flavors are delicious, and the service is super friendly.

Plus, they've got a decent wine selection. Just be warned: the interior feels a bit "retro" (aka old), and your wallet might feel a little lighter than you'd expect for a neighborhood joint.

Still, if you're craving comfort food and a glass of wine in a relaxed setting, it's a...

This “old-fashioned” (in the best sense) resto was just a block from where we stayed, and we dined there 3 times, thereby sampling a good portion of the menu. Our best dishes were roasted artichokes and beef tartare, but there were no duds. Servers were very nice. Bread was good. Wine list was extensive, and we had a full bodied Argentine Malbec on 2 nights - rather bargain-priced. Definitely...

Cozy local restaurant with great service. Great food and affordable price. We love the complimentary warm bread; Jamaican taco is a highlight - avocado, Jamaican leaves and fried pork mixed together delivers an interesting flavor and tortilla is so soft and chewy. Fried calamari is also soft and tender. Onion soup is rich and hot. A very fulfilling meal in general.

They have europeanized food. Two kind of taco and a traditional soup but as I understood the rest was like pasta and steak and burger. Also they don't have an English menu and don't speak English. So make sure your Google translate is ready. The wrap was pretty good. Not too much flavor. The staff are friendly.
