Pros: located in a nice neighborhood, close to parks, very clean, friendly staff, felt very safe, reasonably priced Cons: idk if it was thin walls or my neighbours were just noisy but I would hear them once in a while, room was cold (I find all hotels are cold so I was prepared) Overall I had very minimal issues, I’d definitely stay there again #hotelreview #cdmx🇲🇽 #hotelroom #hospedaje #mexicocity #condesacdmx #polanco #romanorte #citylife #hotelmotelholidayinn

It is a really nice hotel, located walking distance to most of Condesa. We were in the two bed room and it was a little cramped because of the two beds. In February, we asked for extra blankets for each bed and slept really comfy under the sheets and blankets. I suspect that, since heating is not available, this might not be a great hotel to book in the coldest months, especially if one has to get up during the night. The breakfast of eggs and chilaquiles was perfectly acceptable and the coffee was good (they buy from La Parroquia, and it wasn't the dark over roasted coffee that one can still find in Mexico, as opposed to the new specialty coffee places). Staff was great. There was a hiccup, one that i was content to pay for. I lost my key/card to the room and there was a $12 charge for the loss. But hey, they are a small hotel and probably have to pay for these cards at a small volume fee. It is possible that this would not be a good choice for people who are larger, carrying a lot of weight as, with our room, they might have trouble being comfortable moving around if they are somewhat obese. Like I said, the location was great, just around the corner from a favorite pizza place of mine, Nosferatu, and down on Mazatlan, the 40's era Roxy Neveria is walking distance, as are the two parks ( I took my wife on an orientation walk around calles Amsterdam, Laredo, etc. since this was her first visit to the area). And back to the hotel. A high point was the glorious hot shower. Would I stay here again? I honestly don't know. In the past, I've booked hotels in the $50-60 price range and I'm comfortable with those. We chose this one cause it is close to where our friend lives, whom we wanted to visit. In the price range of this hotel, I'm prone to think I won't book it again, as in that price range, there are several others in the area that I'd like to check out. But having said that, it is a pretty nice place to book for a night or two. Disliked · Well, the rooms aren't heated, and ours was cold in February. But it really wasn't a deal breaker as they provided thick blankets and we slept great.

Our stay at this hotel was a full-blown nightmare—if I could give zero stars, I would. We walked into our room, started settling in, and then noticed human feces smeared on the handle of the toilet. Absolutely revolting. When we called housekeeping, the cleaning lady showed up and—brace yourself—used the same washcloth to wipe down the sink, toilet, and floor. At that point, we were already in a state of shock, but running on zero sleep and starving, we left to get food and regroup before dealing with it further. Then there was the room itself: • Freezing cold with no way to adjust the temperature. No heating, no cooling—just suffering. • The floors? Zero carpeting, which only made the icy room more unbearable. • The shower? Atrocious. Water pressure was abysmal, and the temperature swung wildly between scalding hot and freezing cold like it was actively trying to punish us. After returning, we realized there was no way we could stay here. The hotel then proceeded to waste three hours pretending to find a resolution, only to lie about giving us a full refund. It was so late at night that we finally gave up and left, absolutely disgusted—not just by the conditions, but by the way we were treated. If you have even a shred of self-respect, avoid this place like the plague.
