I'm writing this in English for my fine compatriots visiting the city and staying downtown. The LCP here is exactly what'd you'd expect. Just like home. No-frills, the right price, and tasty in the way pizza is always tasty. For me, it's a treat, and while the staff is always a bit overwhelmed, they do get the job done. Tight ship. The store is in a zone where there are encampments of people that have in the past stopped me and other patrons trying to walk in or out to ask for food or money. This got really hard in the pandemic. I don't know their lives. I'm not blaming anyone. But it's not the most charming of ambiences. That said, I go by there all the time. I've lived downtown 23 years, and I've been on hard times in my day. Thankfully, not quite those hard of times. So, as long as people are peaceful and polite. It's not an issue. And really, I suspect the manager or franchise owner has made some effort to work with the encampments, because it has lightened up a lot, and it's not like you see goons or paid off police roughing up folks. It's just like, leave the doorway open for people to walk in an out, and we'll make sure you guys get something when we have something to give. And really, I admire the staffers that have kept this hard knuckle corner bustling and this grateful neighborhood pizzapizza'd for years now. So, bottom line. If you want a fast, cheap comfort pizza staying around the Alameda (maybe nursing a blurry night of luchas, mezcal and street tacos). Don't hesitate. Just, you...
Read moreI had o e of my best experiences here tonight. It didnt't take much this time around. I can only go by what my exerience was ast time: forcing dumb custo.ers to wait in a long line, onlybto find out 30 minutes later that they only had the nost expensive pizza available. I always order just cheese or pepperoni. Tonight they had the pepperoni pizza prepared and ready to go 30 seconds after I placed my order. They have only a handful of tables and places to sit and eat, but it wasn't a problem for me, because my plan was to...
