I didn’t have a good experience there. The food was bland, nothing special and the waiter seemed to have a real lack of awareness. You look straight in his direction to get his attention, and he just walks off to do something else. I had to get the manager to get his attention. And then the manager had to get him to bring me my fruit that I had been waiting long enough for - it shouldn’t take them long to prepare some fruit in the kitchen. And I didn’t have a knife and fork. I asked for them, and then he went and laid out cutlery on someone else’s table and then went to prepare someone’s bill, whilst I was sat there with food and no knife and fork. He seems to have his priorities wrong… it would have taken him 10 seconds to get me a knife and fork. The manager was unapologetic and just said: “I will talk to my waiters,” I’m an annoyed kind of voice. The customer service is poor there, the waiters don’t seem to have their priorities right and they don’t smile, either. The manager probably won’t like this comment, but he has to understand - it’s not about him, it’s about the customer. One has to value and respect the customer and their needs - that’s what customer service is. Worst experience ever. Me and my sister both hijabis. We stayed at the hotel and decided one morning to try their restaurant’s buffet which wasn’t vegetarian friendly at all, overpriced and the worst thing happened when we were leaving one of the restaurant staff followed us yelling at us to come back and pay, they asked us for our room number when we came to the restaurant to charge it to the room.
