We ate here on Monday 10/10. I told them my feedback on the food and wait verbally and said I would not leave a review in order not to tarnish their reputation, but unfortunately, my husband spent the rest of the day with food poisoning, so I feel a need to share our experience. We were staying nearby and thought this place seemed nice and had a good looking menu. We went for a weekday breakfast on our way to another activity. We had an hour, which we thought was plenty of time, but it took 45 minutes for my sons' food to arrive and another 10 after that for my husband and I to get our food, even though the restaurant was empty and the chef seemed to be having a cigarette break outside when we arrived. No explanation was given for the delay. The food seemed fine, but the delay was excessive. Then, we used the bathroom before leaving and were horrified to see that there was no running water in the bathroom, and a bottle of hand sanitizer and roll of paper towels were tossed in the sink. The toilet had to be manually flushed by sticking one's hand in the tank to maneuver the mechanism. When husband, who didn't even see the bathroom, spent the rest of the day in gastro distress, we realized this is not a safe place to eat. We will not eat in an empty restaurant again- we should...
Read moreThe staff was kind, but I would not return for a meal. I’m willing to wait for good food, so the considerable wait did not concern me.
However, my egg whites omelette tasted strongly of artificial butter, the bread was unconscionably dry and hard, and the side of beans did not save the day. Oddly, I ordered an omelette with spinach and onions and the onions were served raw as a garnish rather than included in the omelette. I left and went to another nearby restaurant without eating my food.
Further, a small insect scurried from my serving tray—another offense that I can sometimes let pass, but there were too many offenses for one meal.
