Very long wait for food. Dishes came out sporadically despite being told appetizers were first and entrees second. One person at our table asked to have their order cancelled (it then magically appeared after being last to receive food after an hour wait). Still cancelled the dish and we noticed it was given to another patron: we know this because it had unique items requested in it for the dish. Server only gave us one menu despite 4 people at the table, despite multiple requests. QR menu code didn’t work either. Had to ask wait staff multiple times for everything: refills, extra utensils, the check…all that badgering for mediocre food. It wasn’t that busy when we arrived either. Mikado Restaurant on Reforma Ave. is a good place to visit if you are in the mood for Japanese cuisine while in Mexico City. Their menu includes all of the staples you would expect, including some made with imported items from Japan. The upper floor is mostly used for teppanyaki, and the downstairs area is equipped with tables equipped with gas stoves for shabu shabu, sukiyaki, oden, etc. This is a very cozy restaurant, always busy at lunchtime, especially. Un lugar con comida rica, servicio excelente y bastante amplio aunque por fuera sólo se vea el Teppanyaki adentro podrás acceder a la parte de abajo del lugar con mucho más espacio.

El lugar es bastante clásico, no esperes algo muy fancy, no quiere decir que no valga la pena visitarlo, al contrario es una opción rica, accesible y con un menú muy variado, sólo comento porque a mucha gente no le agrada lo viejo, para mí es un clásico, es un viaje al pasado, definitivamente seguiré asistiendo, sólo comento por si a ti tu buscas algo más moderno.

La atención es excelente, ten la libertad de preguntar, el mesero que no atendió era una persona mayor pero muy amable y atenta, otro aspecto importante es que los platillos los traen muy rápido y calientes, las porciones son vastas, mucha gente busca que el servicio sea rápido y aquí lo es.

Yo pedí un Ramen, una cerveza Pacífico, un teriyaki y un Sushi, el aspecto del teriyaki era como muy casero pero wow, la verdad un excelente sabor, toda la comida estaba increíble.

Los baños están limpios pero como te digo es un lugar clásico, definitivamente nada de pretensión aquí, es un lugar aceptable y lo mejor que no quedarás decepcionado, ve...
