There was a cockroach 🪳 sitting in a bidet in the bathroom. My tip got doubled from 5% to 10%. The waitress forgot to get my credit card signature until I was right at the entrance of the bathroom, so I wasn't able to check properly. To add a bit of insult, there weren't any paper towels in the bathroom.
They were confused by their Te Apple Freeze item (probably because it was primarily English). I ordered it and received the wrong item. We had to work with them to get the correct item.
The waitress suggested we get lime and salt with the water we ordered. We expected it to be free, but it ended up adding 40 pesos for a total of 100 pesos for a water. The lime filled up nearly half of the glass and was not enjoyable.
We were seated in an alcove. My partner had a good view, but my view was predominantly a mass of power line wires outside of the window.
The empanadas were good. The Chivito Al Pan was kind of dry due to the well done steak and thoroughly cooked eggs.

Read moreWorst Tomahawk Steak Ever The restaurant is selling what they call a tomahawk, but it's not a real tomahawk cut. It's actually a regular rib end. As a result, half of the entire steak was just fat. The bone was short and strangely cut. When I asked about it, they claimed they cut it that way to give more meat, but the reality is that the bone was cut at an angle because it wasn't a true tomahawk cut. A proper tomahawk steak should obviously have the rib bone cut straight. I complained to the manager, but they insisted this was their standard, which leads me to believe all their other "tomahawks" are the same. It was an extremely disappointing meal.
On top of the poor meat quality, the cooking was also a huge letdown. The outside was burned and tough, while the inside was...
