I recently had the pleasure of visiting Patisserie Dominique in Mexico City, and I must say, it was an incredible and truly magical experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I was transported to a world of sweet delights and indulgence.
The patisserie's interior was beautifully decorated, with intricate details and an atmosphere that made me feel like I was in a Parisian cafe. And the pastries themselves were simply divine - from the buttery croissants to the decadent eclairs, every bite was a true delight.
But what really stood out to me was the service. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, taking the time to explain each pastry and recommend their personal favorites. It was clear that they were passionate about their craft and genuinely cared about making my experience special.

Read moreDelicious food, TERRIBLE service. I have been here twice; the first time the service staff was pretty rude but everyone can have a bad day, so I gave it a second chance yesterday. Bad choice:
We sat down pretty fast, but had to call the waiter more than 5 times and, when he finally came over, acted like he was annoyed with our presence 🤷♀️

When she finally agreed to give them to us, she brought the pastries in a single bag (there was three of us who were going our separate ways). We asked for separate baggies and got an eye roll and a hoff (though we did, in the end, get the baggies). They say third time's a charm, but in the unlikely case that I ever go to Dominique's again, I'll just...

When I told the owner I'd been given the wrong food he dismissed my complaint, claiming that it was home made ham, and when I pointed out it was uncooked he said 'you don't like it rare?', as if I was weird for not wanting to eat raw pork. He then took it away to cook it some more, and when he brought it back he told me that it wasn't ham after all, it was turkey. But he made no apology - neither for giving me the wrong meal, nor for giving me raw poultry....
