Primer Cuadro — Restaurant in Mexico City

This restaurant is absolutely 5 star. Amazing flavors and service. Steaks are the best in mexico city. The house sangria is delicious. The little stove on the table filled with meats for the whole table was so good. If you need a grand finally to your mexico city vacation I highly suggest you go out with a bang here. The views of the zocalo are incredible. I suggest you make a reservation to get a table by the balcony. Cost us about 140 for two people tip and all. Also I'd arrive about an hour before sunset so you get the night an day views...

We actually went here 2x in our week trip to Mexico City. The only thing I'd like to take away a partial point for is that their entertainment, a sax player when we were there, goes around asking for tips. I really don't like this but the food and the service were great! (Yes, I ordered pasta at a steak house, don't judge. It was great and I got steak on the second trip. ) You have to enter through a jewelry store. Look for the employees wearing black w a maroon mask to help you to the correct location. La mejor vista de la CDMX Aunque el servicio del restaurante deja mucho que desear... Yo fui en el 2017 y me pasó esto, por lo que se ve, ya remodelaron, ojalá hallan cambiado de administración, por qué efectivamente la vista es hermosa. 1.- No tener quien te guie al restaurante desde abajo, ENCONTRARTE AL GARROTERO DEL RESTAURANTE JALONEANDOSE EN EL ELEVADOR CON UNA MESERA DEL OTRO RESTAURANTE... 2.- La hostess muy bonita, alta y delgada, peinado estilo Frida, muy agradable y amigable, pero.... CON LOS ZAPATOS MUY MALTRATADOS Y EL DOBLADILLO DEL PANTALON DESHILACHADO Y ROTO... ¿? 3.- Pides tus bebidas y te llevan el refresco de lata y un vaso con hielo, lo peor: LOS VASOS OLIAN A CHOQUIA... 4.- NO TIENEN SERVILLETAS DE TELA... 5.- SE TARDAN MAS DE 40 MINUTOS EN SERVIRLE AL COMENSAL Y TU PLATILLO ESTA CRUDO.... OJO: EL RESTAURANTE TENIA POCAS PERSONAS... 6.- LO MAS INDIGNANTE: LA LOZA ESTA ROTA Y DESPOSTILLADA... Si hablamos que es un lugar que POSEÉ UNA VISTA PRIVILEGIADA DEL ZOCALO DE LA CDMX, QUE MAS DE LA MITAD DE LOS COMENSALES QUE ESTABAMOS, ERAN EXTRANJEROS, ¿por que permiten que el restaurante tenga este tipo de fallas...? Al inmueble le falta pintura, iluminación, el personal no tiene un uniforme general, las mesas se mueven, los percheros están viejos, en fin, esta muy abandonado... ¿Que los salva? Las pechugas "Primer Cuadro" rellenas de huitlacoche en salsa de chile poblano... de entrada "La tabla de quesos y jamón serrano" Y...
