Found an Insect in My Food – Disgusted and Disappointed

I recently dined at this restaurant and ordered Korean BBQ. Initially, I was enjoying the meal, wrapping the grilled meat in fresh lettuce. However, to my horror, I later discovered a dead insect embedded in one of the lettuce leaves. I immediately called the waiter to address the situation. The waiter took away the contaminated lettuce and brought me a new plate, assuring me that the lettuce had been thoroughly cleaned.

I was shocked by how the staff handled the situation. There was no apology offered, and they did not proactively offer any compensation. The lack of concern was alarming. Finally, I spoke with the restaurant owner and informed them that I would not be paying for this meal. The owner agreed, but the entire experience left me feeling deeply unsettled.

To make matters worse, after returning home, I started experiencing stomach issues, including diarrhea, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable.
