«+» Overall, good looking updated and ideally clean hotel. Nice and friendly hotel staff. Very big and remodeled Deluxe King Room that I stayed in (#4006). Large window in my room, which brought a lot of natural daylight inside. Big comfortable King Bed. Nicely designed bathroom area divided into a long big sink area, a glass shower stall, and a toilet separated by a door. Reasonable hotel rate (I paid approximately $83 per night with all taxes included). Nice hotel location in the center of Mexico City. «-» Very slow Wi-Fi, which completely disappeared from time to time. Only one slow and tiny elevator in the hotel. No refrigerator in my room. Very small closet with just a few hangers. Uncomfortable bed pillows. Tiny shower stall. Bad quality bathroom amenities. No toilet brush in the bathroom.

Being located close to a mall means that anything you need is in walking distance. My only two complains are minor fixes. 1) during my stay the elevator was out of order and I stayed on the 4th floor. But I needed the exercise anyway. And 2) there was a problem with the shower door that didn't let it seal properly, allowing a little bit of water to get on the floor. I bring my own towel when I travel so I used the hotel provided towel to soak up the water. Unfortunately, this lead me to discover a leak somewhere because the water moved around the towel and I slipped as I discovered a puddle in the bathroom by the toilet. I let management know about it and I'm sure it will be fixed before the next guest. Overall, the hotel is a great place, staff is very helpful. I would definitely recommend

I highly recommend avoiding this place, do not be tempted by low prices from Expedia or otherwise. The bathroom was covered in black mold which is a dangerous health hazard. The air conditioning smelled like cat urine. The beds were dirty. I made the attendant there aware of the issues present in the room, they offered another room that had the exact same issues. I asked for a refund but was purchased through Expedia. Expedia “attempted” to contact the place to get a refund but not luck as renting unhealthy, smelly, and dirty rooms to “guests” is exactly what these people do for a living. Do not stay here under any circumstances. Sleep on the street.

The Hotel is very nice , we stayed in the room 1003 which has an extra large bed , the place is nice well decorated , rooms are big enough and the bathroom and shower are also quite big , which makes your stay very comfortable.||Make sure you add the breakfast option to your reservation , food is good the kitchen staff is friendly and nice , same goes for the cleaning lady , room was always clean and every time they come and clean the restock the shampoos water bottles and soaps.||||I would stay here again with no hesitation , the only cons we encounter are minimum but I will write them none the less so you beware ||||The walls are not soundproof , you hear everything from room to room , so if you are unlucky as it happened to me , to be right next to a family with kids , well you will suffer a little sooner or later , my neighbors were a little noisy , specially their kids , they were literally playing with whistles and shouting to each other , now to be fair I did not complaint as I was barely in the hotel and it was during the holiday season , so I did not wanted to be a "grinch" after all they were kids, I think however the hotel could monitor this kind of situations knowing beforehand that their walls are kindda thin.||||This did not spoiled my stay and It did not change my view at the hotel , chances are that if I would have complained the hotel would have done something about it. ||||And they need to put instructions on how to use the freaking shower , its a ritual every morning you have to configure the levers in a very weird and particular way to have even a little of warm not to say hot water , I ended up showering with cold water I called the desk a couple of times and they gave us the instructions and we tried to follow them but still it was very hard not to say impossible.||||So maybe when the bellboy comes to show you your room he can also show you how to use the hot shower or they print instructions and put them in every shower.||||That being said I would definitely use this hotel again in my future stays , is nice it has great breakfast friendly staff , is not expensive and is a few blocks away from the famous angel at the roundabout "...

This hotel does not deserve to be a 4 star. The hotel is in great need of refurbishing, there are no fridge or minibar in the rooms and the breakfast opens an hour later at 8am on weekends. But my main upset about the hotel is the reception staff. In particular Clara, who was very arrogant to me when I complained after a wait of 5 hours for a change of batteries in the safe in my bedroom. When, after 3 calls to her, she told me it would take as long as it would take, I admit raising my voice. But I never used a bad word, I did not scream in any way. Her response was that I was not respectful and she hang up on me. I was always respectful, even though I was angry. She, on the other hand, never offered any apology for the 5 hours I was waiting in my room as I did not want to leave my passports and wallet unsafe. The other receptionist I think should be mentioned as not helpful s Cassandra. I happen to have a fractured and twisted foot right now. And when I checked out, there are about 8 steps to get from the elevator to the reception desk. It was obvious I was struggling with my 2 pieces of luggage but she sat there, at reception - 2 meters away from me and not busy with any other customer, on her phone while I was obviously in need of help. Not nice and certainly not professional. Location was good as was the cleaning. But I strongly recommend looking at other options if you are looking for 4 star rating level of service...

The hotel is in a great location. It is right off of Paseo de la Reforma, and everything is within walking distance, including Bosque de Chapultepec and the Angel de la Independencia. It can be hard to find because it's kind of in a back alley behind the bigger, taller buildings. The front facade can be disappointing if you are expecting modern fancy. Once inside, however, the place is clean, recently updated, and the rooms are pretty decent; very clean and modern. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Ricardo and Jose. They helped us with directions, taxi service, etc. The one thing that was pretty strange and aggravating after a day traveling with kids was the hotel policy of not providing washcloths. That was maddening, but the staff made up for it with their great personalities. When I got here, I swore I was going to give a really bad review, but the staff were so great, I couldn't do it. Hotel Management, wherever you are, you need to fix that ridiculous no...
