I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Maza, and it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting ambiance that set the stage for an unforgettable evening.

The fusion concept at this restaurant is truly unique. It seamlessly blends traditional Indian flavors with innovative culinary twists, resulting in a mouthwatering journey of taste. The authenticity of the dishes was evident in every bite, as the flavors transported me to the heart of India. From the perfectly spiced curries to the delectable tandoori dishes, each plate was a masterpiece.

What truly set this restaurant apart, however, was the exceptional customer service. The staff was not only attentive but also knowledgeable about the menu, making expert recommendations that enhanced our dining experience. It's evident that they are passionate about their cuisine, and their enthusiasm was contagious.

The attention to detail extended to the presentation of each dish, which was a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. The artistic plating and the use of vibrant colors made the dining experience even more memorable.

Maza Bistrot offers a culinary journey that's a cut above the rest. The fusion of flavors, the impeccable service, and the charming ambiance create an unforgettable dining experience. Whether you're a connoisseur of Indian cuisine or simply looking to explore new flavors, this restaurant is a must-visit. I can't wait to return and savor more of their delectable...

My parents came with my husband and I around dinner time and did not get a chance to plan out our dinner for our first evening and stumbled upon this restaurant on Open Table.

We were SO pleasantly surprised and SO glad that we came! This restaurant is fairly new but has a fresh take on many beloved Indian dishes. The chef Rohan and his wife are very personable and take the time to explain and chat with you, adding to the experience.

Here are the dishes we ordered: raj kachori - was balanced and easy on the palate. Melted in mouth with a great crunch! mumbai sliders (vada paav) - this one took my dad back to his days in Mumbai as a kid eating street food. He was thrilled! chicken egg kaathi roll - this was yum! Great flavor :) panier saag - this was the fusion french indian dish we ordered and it was very tasty! A cool sdd veg daal thali - the daal was quite spicy for me but the rest of my family loved it! bhel puri- this was my favorite! They added mango and avocado which was so unique pistachio kulfi - great dish, less sweet version from what we are used to, and soo tasty! chocolate surprise - this is a must try for chocolate lovers out there! chai - my husband is obsessed with chai and was extremely happy with his chai here. More on the milky side but balanced and rich.

Overall, a must try for desis in Mexico as well as those who are interested in trying a taste of...

An Unmissable Gem for Indian Cuisine in CDMX As someone from India, I usually steer clear of Indian restaurants while traveling—there’s always a fear of disappointment. But after a week in CDMX, my colleagues convinced me to try this place, and I’m so glad I gave in.

The food here genuinely rivals some of the best Indian restaurants back home. Rohan and his team have created something truly special. The bhel puri was a flavor bomb—crunchy, tangy, and beautifully balanced. The beetroot cutlet (I’m forgetting the exact name) was the real showstopper—I could’ve easily eaten a second round, but I was too tempted to explore more of the menu.

The almond korma chicken tasted like a cherished family recipe—rich, comforting, and deeply satisfying. It instantly transported me back home.

What made the experience even more memorable was the passion with which Rohan explained each dish. His attention to detail and love for Indian cuisine truly shone through—I walked away not just full, but also having learned something new.

Highly, highly recommend this place. If you want a real taste of Indian food—crafted with care and bursting with flavor—you’ll find it here. I know I’ll be back every time I visit Mexico City.

Thank you, Rohan and team, for bringing a slice of home halfway...

Absolutely fantastic place, all in all. Super tasty food! As someone who's father (Indian) was a chef, I am quite critical of Indian food (and the rest)in general. And I've gotta say, if you're craving Indian in CDMX - this is the spot. The (very) few critiques first: - The paratha is more of a tortilla than a legitimate paratha, but we're in Mexico after all - Not sure I'd call it much of a fusion, but rather just some great Indian and French dishes (it should be noted that these two critiques do nothing to diminish my appreciation for this place) The good (great): - the Kathi roll is fantastic, and I love the touch with the eggs - the thalis are quite tasty, especially the lamb (cordero) - the wines are delicious and well curated - the staff is phenomenal and the service is exceptional, plus since it's pretty new they seem to remember their clientele which always makes you feel a little special All in all, I love the food, the ambiance, the service and the staff. It is pretty fairly priced consider the portions, location and quality of the food. Great for dates, lunch, dinner, families, and really any other occasion you can think of. Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed!
