My brother comes here a lot, and unfortunately this was my first time. We spent two hours there before we got our order. TWO. I was about to flip out. The fat white manager didn’t even apologize, but the staff did. I get it, but I saw four tables be seated, and get their food before us. The salad was good, and my brother’s grilled cheese.. but for the price.. embarrassing. They had a big table of 20 ppl, but I still think that’s such a poor excuse because other tables smaller than ours were being served and.. nothing was even compensated and the fact that the manager was unhelpful and we had to go up there to ask for a bottle of wine and the check .. we still tipped well but for 3000 pesos. I’d rather go elsewhere. I’m adding a picture of the enfrijoladas that my sister ordered. First of all these aren’t traditional which is great but they were really bad didn’t even really eat them. They tasted like what my mom said, cardboard with dry potatoes inside. My mom’s chilaquiles were made of chips and heated salsa, not the authentic kind you would expect. However, my salad was really good. Imagine two hours before food was served and 40 minutes for juices after the order was taken. Still can’t believe it. Proud that we were able to keep our cool, but had to leave a review because ppl should know you might...

The place is beautiful, the menu looks very appetizing and the prices are decent.

My experience unfortunately was not good at all. I ordered the fried chicken and waffles. When I got my order the chicken smelled funny and the server asked if everything was ok. I saw the chicken was cooked and said yes. However, once I tried it, I realized it was uneatable. It tasted like expired chicken that spent too much time in the freezer (this has happened to me at home in the past so I recognize the taste but I am not certain this is the cause).

The point is, the chicken tasted awful, and thats coming from someone who can eat anything.

When they took our plates, I told the server. They didn't seem to bothered by the fact they gave me uneatable chicken. We did not recieve an apology in any way and the staff acted like nothing happen.

I have just returned from there and both me and my wife (who also tried it) have stomach pain.

I was mostly bothered by the inaction on behalf of the staff. I understand this can happen but bad chicken is a huge health risk. For this, I will not be returning.

It's really a shame because the place seems nice.

Note: We were returned the full amount of our meal. May go back...

Eaten here on and off over the years, breakfast/lunch/dinner, consistently good food and great service. I’ve had several breakfast choices, all good. Lunch and dinner, I’ve tried the fried chicken macha sandwich dressed with an actual coleslaw, which was spicy, crunchy, and delicious. Their house burger is a quality beef burger with fresh toppings and a nice bun, properly cooked and juicy. Easily the best burger in the area. Salads are always fresh, dark, leafy greens with avocado and other veggies mixed in, topped with house dressing. Fries are crisp and delicious, topped with Parmesan and served with mayo but ketchup is available. Always a great selection of craft beers from Mexico, along with other drinks like hidromiel and kombucha. Wide variety of coffee and teas, instead of the typical options. I rarely have room for dessert but have managed to try a couple and they too were freshly made, great flavors and a nice change from the common desserts around the area. Pro tip- the 1/2 sandwich combo with a cup of soup, a side salad and drink is a great way to try several menu items and leave...

The food had great Instagram-able presentation (as you can see from my pictures) , but they should work on the taste and the service. We had to ask to be served, the waffles didn't arrive with maple syrup or anything (had to ask) we waited for coffee and (had to ask) for pastries...and the list goes on. The coffee and chocolate bread were the only two good things that was served by the coffee shop next door. The egg sandwich was ok, the side salad was too salty and had too much vinegar. Stay away unless you want to be disappointed.
