We went to lunch at around 12:20pm today, they only started their lunch menu at 1pm. So we had about 40 min to kill, so we ordered two margaritas with guacamole. The margaritas were too sweet and the guacamole was decent. Then we ordered the second round of margaritas to specific that less sweet, they were still way too sweet! At lunch time, my friend ordered a salad with chicken and it was nothing special and more weird taste side. I asked for fish and the server told me they’re out of fish at the moment, so I ordered pork belly with white mole sauce. The pork belly was way too dry and I couldn’t even eat it, except a smaller portion was moisture enough to cut through it. About my pork belly, everything was horrible. The server didn’t even care to ask if everything was okay!!! We won’t recommend this place again to all my friends, truly disappointed!!! We had been there so many times before, this time did remind me to stop going….what a waste of...

My review is 4.5 stars.

The reviews are accurate; this is a cozy place with great service and innovative regional food. The flavors are familiar but combined in a way I hadn't thought of, and surprisingly, they taste amazing. Each bite is rich with textures, flavors, and leaves a lasting aftereffect when you finish chewing.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, welcoming you with a piece of sourdough bread paired with purple corn masa (which I believe they make in-house), served alongside a rich but not spicy salsa.

For those used to big portions, you'll need to order more than one dish here. The portions are "normal/common in Mexico," so foreigners should be aware.

This place is...

I was very excited to Cometo eat to Lu restaurant, cuz I heard great things about it . The truth I didn't like it at all ,I started with a green jus ,it was very watery and tasteless without consistency, I ordered Molletes to star and I asked to the waiter to add chorizo on top ,but I couldn't find any ,el Pico de Gallo it was like it was kept it hrs on the fridge really bad and dry and not spicy at all,try to find a waiter to ask for hot sauce at least but he oly showed up when I was already finished, then I ask to my check to go finish my breakfast somewhere else. Very bad...

Monday at 1pm for Day of the Dead. Everything in and around the square is decorated with the yellow flowers. Ordered the pastel (made of tamales amd chamorro" and it was absolutely delicious. My friend ordered the chipotle omelette and it was also really tasty. Service was prompt and food arrived hot and well plated. We sat outside to watch the world go by. Unfortunately like in many other places in Mx, we had an average of one hustler stopping by to sell something or ask for money every three minutes.
