Having visited three times, I can confidently say that Anthonieta Bistrot has become a cherished favorite ad strong recommendation of ours in Puerto Escondido.

March 2025 - I was craving the Beef Short Ribs and placed a take out order. The ribs, vegetables, fries, bread, and service were all fantastic. Thank you so much. We will see you in December when we return to Puerto.

February 2025 Update - The food was spot on this year. I had the catch of the day, Mahi Mahi, and it was cooked perfectly. My friend had the beef short ribs, and they, too, were excellent. It was a much better experience this year.

From February 2024 - We liked the restaurant. The service was good, but my Beef Short Rib dish with red wine sauce was not great. The sauce was very thin and very, very sweet. Incredible food. Haute cuisine at affordable prices. The grilled short rib with red wine sauce is absolutely wonderful. The ribs are cooked to perfection, resting on a bed of superb mashed potatoes with caramelized onion compote, and a sublime red wine sauce. Perfectly balanced sweet, salty, sour, and umami. We went in for a Caesar Salad with Shrimp and ended up going back 3 more times in the week we were visiting. The Caesar was immaculate.
